LiFe'S CuRvEs
Wow. My life seems to throw me the strangest curve balls all the time. Whether they be good or bad, they never cease to amaze me in how random they are. At 6:30 this morning, my mom starts roaming the halls of the house. She came in my room (without knocking) and asked if I had her hair oil. "NOooo????", I said and closed my eyes again. A minute later, she came in and said, "i found it." I'm like, "okay mom." lol. 3 minutes later, she came in again and asked if I could get the blow dryer out of the linen closet for her. So, I had to find some shorts to put on and made my way to the bathroom. I grabbed a stool from in the living room and planted it right in front of the open closet. I even had to get on my tippy toes to reach the bag that the dryer was in. I wasn't frustrated, nor in a bad mood, so I simply said, "Here you go, ma". She said thank u and i went into my room to lay back down. 5 Minutes l8er she came in and said, "can u wash the tub out for me?" I said "sure", put the shorts back on and washed it out. Didn't really get bak to sleep since then. Once I finally woke up, I got a little nervous. Here's the deal... i have a basket at the edge of my bed that I put my dirty clothes in. Well, I noticed that my birth control pills were sitting on the very top of the pile. I guess they fell out of my purse. Thing about it is.... When my mom came in, she was right at the edge of my bed. SHYT!!! I hope she either didn't see them or didn't jump to conclusions...My bad. Ah well. Moving on. Yesterday, I got the strangest call... some copying corporation downtown called me and said i sent in resume. He informed me that it was very impressive for a young lady my age. (i must say, I felt very proud right then) In my head I was like, "huh?" Finally the guy filled me in on just how he received my resume. Then the bell rang in my head. Before I finally got another job with the Chase, I was sending companies my resume' on www.stltoday.com. Dang, I forgot all about that. Anyway, dude asked how much I made starting off @ Allstate and I told him "$8 bucks". Normally I wouldn't do that, but something to me to. "You'll make much more than that here", he said. I was like, "oh okay", with much skepticism in my mind. I swear, considering it's a copying business, I can't really fathom the idea of making a whole lot, u know what I'm sayin'? But hey...... if his talk ISN'T cheap, I'll definitely be very happy with what he's willing to give me. Hmm. Well, at the end of the convo, the guy (whose name i have forgotten) said that I needed to come in, talk, and fill out an application for their records. It's called Hi-Tech Copying, i believe. Hmmm. My newest job venture. What a surprise.
