A Good Day

He came to see me today! And guess what time he got here this morning. It was 'bout 7:40-ish. Goodness. But it was ALL good. It was so nice having him here. But of course, we ran into some obstacles during the day. Thing is, all of them were caused by my ROOMMATE. Right after I brought Bobby up to the room, I told him to go ahead and lay down on my bed, while I put his coat and stuff away. Then, she's suddenly awake and introduces herself, which didn't bother me at all. But things became increasingly aggravating. So.... once I get ready to get in the bed, she says, "Go ahead and turn off my alarm. I'M UP NOW!". I would've had no problem turning off her alarm if she didn't add the following commentary. Moving on. After I came back from my firs class. I got in the bed with him and we're just laying there talking about nothing and everything. She comes in a little while later and starts getting in our conversation. I asked him what I should do to my hair this week. Should I just have it straight or should I get curls again? Before he could even finish giving me his answer, she goes, "Don't get it curled. It DOESN'T LAST THAT LONG." I think he even wanted to say WTF to that one as much as I did. THEN, it was about 11 o'clock and she asked me if I was going to class and I said no. I thought that would give her the impression that I wanted to spend more time with him while he was here... ALONE. Apparently I was wrong because when I started to cuddle with him in my bed she makes herself very comfortable right in front of my bed and proceeds to watch T.V. And she even turned up the volume!!! Robert and I began to doze off and then she finally got up and left the room. I saw her take her purse with her so I figured she would be gone for a little while. She didn't lock the door so I got up to do it myself. I wanted to fool around a little bit with my babe, and figured she would get the idea if the door was locked. BUT NO! This is how it went down. We fooled around for a little bit, but when we stopped I didn't unlock the door. The thing that pissed me off a little bit is the fact that when she tried to open the door and saw that it was locked, she didn't even say, "can I come in?" or "is it okay for me to come in?" before getting her key out and unlocking the door herself. I thought that that was very rude and inconsiderate. I mean, I understand that we share a room and part of it is hers, but wouldn't you think that if your roommate has a boyfriend that she doesn't see on a daily basis that she would probably want to spend sometime alone with him? I don't know. Maybe I'm mistaken. Maybe I'm in the wrong for saying it. That's the way I felt, damnit. Through all of that, I wasn't going to let it get to me, you know? In the end it would be really petty to let that ruin my day. I can't complain. He came today!! Therefore, it WAS a very good day.
