So What's new?
It is Friday, the 13th! Sitting here. Babysitting. Thinking about life. Thinking about wat's important. Thinkin about what my next move will be on this chess board. Just thinkin, ya'll. I am no longer going to be working @ the Insurance place. It's BS. I will NO LONGER be working @ imo's. Dead serious, u guys. Last week was FINALLY my very last week working there. Even after quitting 3 months ago, it took that long to get out of there. (however, bringing home taxless money was nice). Ah well. That means it's time to move on. It's time for somethin' new. OR at least something different. Yesterday was my first day of the week job hunting and I was quite surprised at how successful it was. Already have a job interview tomorrow, and then another one on Monday. DANG! All i had to do was try. CRAZY!!! I'm so happy with this change of pace. I've actually caught up on all my work at school and turned it in. I ACED my first term of Arabic and I know my grade can't be any lower than a 95%!! Yes, that's right!! I have not been this proud of myself in a while. I mean, this is one of the hardest languages in the world and I ACED it. What does all this good luck mean?????? I had to, again, go back and look @ the last entry i wrote.
Quite frankly, everything i said from that night i wrote has come true. Everything that I said was going to happen, has happened. (i guess i should be careful wat i say, huh?) For instance, I told myself that the insurance place was not going to be able to work my schedule and the fact that I'm only part-time. that same DAY, they let me go. The next day i told myself that i was going to catch up on my work and find a way to get it done. Did it. Not only did i do that, but i had the help OF the professor. All i can do is count my blessings, eh?
One last thing.... lately i've been meeting guys that are actually doing something with themselves... either going to school, going to school and working, graduated and working or just working to get to the next level W/ GOALS. YES! THANK U! I'm glad I know that STL is not just full of lames who have nothing better 2 do and no plans 4 the future. ANd it's not just for my own benefit, but the issue in general. I'm glad to know people have things going for them, just out of concern i have in my heart. Do it big, baby! REACH FOR THE STARS!.... that's wat i plan to do
Well, I can't go too long without making some serious money, so hopefully these interviews will go well. I have a few more places to apply tomorrow, then i'm gonna call it quits 'til monday. Everybody, wish me good luck.
