ICO

On sunday night, I went to Crestwood Mall, for this Westfield Works Wonders event, in which the mall was open after 5:00 pm, which was great. I think I've already mentioned the coat I bought in Forever 21 that night. But I failed to talk about this video game I bought out of Gamestop. It's called Ico. I've wanted to buy this game for a few years. It's for the ps2 and it was only 9 bucks. Thing is, I didn't realize that it was a strategy and puzzle-solving game 'til yesterday. I was like, oh shit. I thought it was more fighting and adventure, but whatever. The background of the game is this.... There is this boy named Ico who used to live in a village. Every few generations one of the children emerge with horns. And guess who has the horns this generation. Yes, Ico. So he is sent off to this isolated fortress, delivered by these faceless horsemen. It's a little creepy. The horsemen place him in this contraption that he can't get out of, and is doomed to die. For one reason or another, the contraption falls out of its place and breaks open. So finally you get to take over for a little bit and walk around. Then you find this angelic-like girl in a cage way up above attached to the ceiling. It gets really deep after that. I swear, it takes half an hour just to get her out. lol. But neway, I don't know how long this game is going to keep my attention, if it doesn't get more exciting. Speaking of games, I really need to finish FFX. I swear, I've been playing it since July. I could've been done, but i've been pussy-footing around. I hope I have less than 20 hours less to go. I was on the mainland plains for about 30 hours leveling up, so it looks like i've been playing that f*cker for almost 100 hours. I'm retarded. Dude, when I was in Crestwood, I saw these Timberland boots in Lady Footlocker. I didn't even want to look @ the price, though. Even if I close tonight at work and stay all day this weekend, I'm not going to make as much as I want. I really need to be able to work at least one more night this week. Damn. Money drives me CRAZY!!!! But I like spending it.
